The Journey of Growth: Learning, Trusting, and Moving Forward



If I’ve learned anything this year, it’s that growth doesn’t always feel glamorous. Sometimes, it feels like showing up when you’d rather give up. Other times, it feels like pushing through overwhelm because you know what God placed in you is bigger than what you feel.

Lately, I’ve been deepening my understanding of HIPAA Awareness, Privacy Laws, Zero Trust Cybersecurity, and Digital Protection Strategies. But let me tell you—this journey hasn’t just been about knowledge; it’s been about obedience.

With every course, every late-night study session, and every new skill I’m gaining, I realize more and more that God is ordering my steps. He’s preparing me for rooms I haven’t yet entered and opportunities I haven’t yet seen.

Yet in the process, I’ve also learned the importance of boundaries.
I can’t be everything to everyone.
I can’t carry burdens God never asked me to carry.
I must protect my time, my marriage, my health, and my purpose.

So today, I’m pausing to say thank you, God, for growth—even the kind that stretches me.
Thank you for the unseen work You’re doing in me.
Thank you for guiding me into rooms I didn’t even know I was being prepared for.

To those of you reading this:
Keep growing. Keep learning. Keep trusting.
Because God is faithful to finish what He starts in you.

Stepping Into a New Season

As one month closes and another begins, I find myself reminded that endings are never wasted. The turning of a calendar is more than a date, it’s an invitation to pause, reflect, and prepare for what’s next. We often underestimate the power of transitions. A simple page flip in time can carry with it both the weight of what we’ve left behind and the promise of what we’re about to embrace. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” That truth steadies me. Seasons change, and so do we. Projects wrap up, some doors close while others open, and challenges stretch us in ways we never anticipated. Yet each of these shifts carries purpose. True Friendship Is Hard to Find

The older I get, the more I see how rare real friendship actually is. Not the type where people check in here and there, or show up when it’s convenient, or only stay close as long as they feel comfortable. I mean the kind of friendship that feels steady… the kind that feels safe… the kind where you don’t have to wonder if someone is secretly competing with you or comparing their life to yours. We live in a time where so many connections are surface-level. People will smile with you but feel something different underneath. People will say they’re happy for you, but you can sense when someone doesn’t truly mean it. You can feel it when someone is only close enough to observe your life, but not invested enough to support it.
